IMPORTANT NOTES
HOW TO MEASURE FOR A BRIDESMAID DRESS
OK, before you get started;
1. Wear something form-fitting or simply measure yourself on bare skin (with undergarments only, not over clothes) to get the most accurate measurements.
2. Don't pull the measuring tape too tight or too loose around your body. You will want to give yourself some wiggle room so that you can breathe.
3. We advise you get the help of a family or friend or professional tailor and measure everything 2 - 3 times to be certain.
Now, grab the measuring tape and let's get started!
STANDARD SIZE (XS-3XL)
It is advised checking carefully the size chart available at each style as measurements for every dress is different. Please do compare your measurements with our size chart before deciding your size. The measurements on the size chart are body measurements, not the finished dress measurements. Measurements are in centimeters (cm).
* If you are between sizes, we recommended you order a size up.
* If you are over 173cm (without heels), it is recommended to opt for custom sizing.
CUSTOM SIZING
No cookie-cutter dress here! One of the best parts about ordering our dresses is we can tailor-make to any sizing. With custom sizing, our tailor craft each dress exactly to your bust, waist and hips sizes and height measurements to ensure that the dress is going to fit you perfectly and reduce your potential alteration costs.
If you are ordering a custom sizing, we would require the measurements as follows:
1. Bust: __________ cm
2. Waist: __________ cm
3. Hips: __________ cm
4. Height: _________ cm
5. Heel: _________ cm
6. Color Code: _________
1. Bust
This is a measurement of the fullest part of your bust or body circumference at the bust. It is a body measurement which measures the circumference of a woman's torso at the level of the breasts.
How To Measure
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust and center the tape on your back so it's leveled all the way around.
2. Waist
This is a measurement of your natural waistline, or the smallest part of your waist.
How To Measure
Bend to one side to find natural indentation in torso. This is your natural waist. Run tape around natural waistline, keeping tape parallel with floor.
3. Hips
This is a measurement around fullest part of your buttocks.
How To Measure
Wrap tape around the fullest part of your hips, which is usually 7-9" below your natural waistline. Keep tape parallel with floor all the way around.
4. Height (barefoot)
This is your body height.
Note: Don't wear shoes when taking this measurement.
5. Heel Height
This is the height of the shoes you are going to wear with this dress. Measure the heel height from foot brace to floor.
